Contact the FCBC office if you would like more information about any of these ministries WorshipSunday worship services have a flexible liturgical structure which has both musical worship and biblical teaching including a children's component. It is our hope to encounter the Living God personally and corporately. The musical worship is free flowing and "spirit-led", allowing for spontaneous expressions of love and worship. Some of our worship forms are praise and worship music, prayer and intercession, communion, reading of scripture (the Bible), healing prayer, prophesy, personal testimonies and other creative expressions which have included drama, dance and visual art (sometimes based themes, such as the liturgical calendar and Jewish holidays). Our hope is to continually grow in our love of Jesus and freedom to worship and serve Him, relying on the anointing of the Holy Spirit and the application of our spiritual gifts as the Body of Christ. Father’s PresenceFather’s Presence (3rd Sunday each month from 4-6 pm ) is a time of prayer and worship centered around the focus of ministering to Jesus and creating a place of habitation for our Heavenly Father’s presence here in our lives, in our fellowship and in our city. We seek to:
This time in Dad’s presence will help people grow in love for God and others, train their spiritual senses, and be freed to experience and minister the Kingdom of God and its good tidings in all spheres of their life. The atmosphere of Father’s Presence is hope-filled, expectant, and truth-declaring. Mighty Kids BrigadeThe Mighty Kids Brigade invites children from 1st–7th grade to experience the Father’s love in a variety of different ways. We believe in the freedom of expression through worship, and this being a cultivated lifestyle lived out daily. Our desire is to provide a safe and nurturing environment for the children to develop burning hearts of worship as well as the gifts God has given them. We also focus on developing the children’s individual prayer life by praying together, for one another, and by encouraging the kids to have regular prayer times throughout the week. God’s Word is living and active and also very important to us. Teaching for The Mighty Kids varies from season to season. In 2011, The Mighty Kids learned and prayed apostolic prayers from the New Testament, practiced worshipping with the arts including music, painting, and dance, prayed for and talked about missions, and studied the births of John the Baptist and Jesus from Luke 1 & 2. Our desire is to help the children develop hunger for and live in obedience to the Word of God. If you have any questions regarding the Children’s Ministry at FCBC, please contact Chantel. Nursery-ToddlersThere is care provided a rotation of volunteers for nursery and pre-school children during the Sunday morning service. HousegroupsHousegroups, ranging from 8-15 people, are the primary expression of community within FCBC. Groups are diverse and generally meet in a committed way on a weekly basis. Everyone calling FCBC their home is encouraged to join a housegroup. AlphaAlpha is a periodic ten week course held at the church. It is a practical introdution to the Christian faith. Each evening includes a meal, a talk, and an opportunity to meet in discussion group. The evening sessions begin at 6:30 pm and are done promptly at 9 pm. There is a retreat day during the 6th or 7th week. Topics covered are: "Who is Jesus?" "Why did Jesus die?" "How does God Guide Us?" "How can I resist evil?" "Does God Heal Today?" and "Why and how should I Pray?" We will post our next Alpha course here on the Web site. Prophetic MinistryWe have a growing desire to hear the words God is speaking out through the Holy Spirit for today in all the various forms He chooses to speak. We periodically meet together for "Roundtable sharing" to hear what God is saying over the body. We also exercise the prophetic gifting in personal and corporate ministry times. Technical TeamThe technical team serves the body of FCBC by operating and maintaining equipment for sound, lighting, overheads, video, etc. which are used in a variety of settings such as Sunday worship, Thursday worship practice, Family meetings, Conferences held at the building and other functions. We also explore new technology and advise the Elders regarding new purchases.

Do not work for food that spoils, but for food that endures to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give you. On him God the Father has placed his seal of approval.
